A new airline will soon be offering commercial flights between Quebec, Canada and destinations in the Caribbean and parts of the Southern Hemisphere.

Canadian group Nolinor Aviation launched OWG today with the promise to take passengers to put customer safety and comfort first.

OWG stands for “Off we go” and its motto is “Travel Better.”

In a media release, OWG President Marco Prud’homme said: “The flight portion of your trip should be an integral part of your vacation. Traditional airlines have chosen to cut the quality of their services year after year with no regard for the passenger experience. Our goal is to win the hearts of Quebecers with a new airline whose mission is to get travellers excited again.”

Nolinor Aviation has been in the airline industry for 27 years providing charter transportation with its fleet of some ten Boeing 737s.

The company said it has invested more than US$1million into “a think tank to reinvent the way things are done in this industry.”

OWG will be using recently acquired Boeing 737-400s.

OWG said it has upgraded the 158 seats on board to be lighter and sturdier as part of their drive to provide top-quality comfort for passengers.

“In addition to these technological innovations, the new brand is counting on the quality of its team to provide a travel experience that will exceed customer expectations,” OWG said.

Loop News reached out to OWG to find out which Caribbean islands will be included on their schedule. An airline representative responded saying: “More information (destination, schedule, etc) will be revealed in the upcoming weeks!”

A count down on the OWG website said the service launch will be in 54 days.

Most of Caribbean countries and territories are closed to international commercial flights due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
